Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi Jamal al-Din bin al-Qasimi (; 1866 – 1914) was a Syrian Islamic scholar and one of the leading figures of the Salafi movement in late Ottoman Syria. His writings covered hadith, tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), fiqh (jurisprudence) and ethics. He is regarded as part of the generation of Muslim reformers influenced by Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Rida.
