Summary:The objective of this study is to develop an optimal calibration model of water distribution systems through the integration of EPANET hydraulic software and optimization analysis of Generic Algorithm (GA) approach. The study area involved a well-developed semi-urban area in the West Coast of West Malaysia that has 11.54 km long treated water distribution pipe aged more than 20 years and serves 1784 consumers.
